Welcome

Welcome to the European School Clubs website!

The European School Clubs website was created by The Polish Robert Schuman Foundation as a part of the third meeting from  a series of projects dealing with  European integration and the network of European School Clubs.

The idea of the Meetings of the European School Clubs is to bring Europe closer to European youth. Since a common criticism of the European Union is that it is too far from its citizens, our goal for the third project entitled“Bring Europe Closer to Youth - Simulations of the Summit of the European Council” was to help youngsters get through immersion closer to this institution. The best way to achieve it was to carry out simulations of the summit of the European Council. We have decided to carry out such initiatives for Polish students, who will themselves spread the simulations, as well as for European secondary school students (from Poland, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, France, Germany and Hungary), in order to show how the European Union functions from the inside and to encourage youth to become leaders in the promotion of active European citizenship at the local level.

The meeting was also the occasion to create this platform of cooperation between the European Clubs at the international level – a platform that would enable European Clubs (or equivalent organizations that unite students and teachers interested in European issues) from different European countries to meet, exchange their experiences and information, discuss the main activities and the possibilities of establishing cooperation between various clubs.

Euroclubnetwork.eu is a cyber platform, where participants of the project, pupils and teachers, as well as newcomers, can gather to form a network of European clubs and other similar parascolar structures. The website is moderated by The Polish Robert Schuman Foundation . The whole content of the website is avaiable to everyone. However, you have to be registered to interact and participate actively.
