Have you discovered your Europe yet? If so - share your discovery with others! From the 1st of March  runs the 6th edition of “Discover Europe”, which is the Europe-wide photo contest for students.

This year, for the sixth time, Erasmus Student Network Poland organizes Discover Europe contest - an Poland-wide photo competition. The aim of the contest is to select best photographs presenting Poland and other European countries which are taken by European students. National final and the Awards Ceremony takes place in May 2009, in Warsaw. The contest gives an opportunity to develop photographic skills and to share the experiences from our travelling abroad and, of course, to show Europe diversity - its traditions and customs. Discover Europe is another chance to create an intercultural dialogue, which has been strongly supported by Erasmus Student Network between young people for many years.

This year there are three new categories:

·         My discovery – Europe

·         My discovery – Poland

·         Experience Erasmus

You can upload maximally 3 pictures.

The contest consists of two parts: local stages and central stage. With the activation of the website the local stages have started. In April professional juries will choose best photos in each category. These photos will be awarded and qualified to the central stage. For the final results of the central stage we will have to wait until 23rd of May. On that day  the formal final ceremony will take place in Warsaw – handing in the prizes combined with exhibition of photographs, banquet and artistic performance.

There are precious prizes waiting for the laureates: photo cameras, printers, scanners, iPods, photo courses, subscriptions to photo magazines, photo albums, vouchers and many others!!

The contest is held under the patronage of The Polish Robert Schuman Foundation.
